Design Your Own Skyscraper Workshop Date: 4-5 August 2025 Time: 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM Cost: £90 Age: Suitable for ages 11+ (due to the nature of this course, we cannot accept any students younger than 11) Ever dreamed of designing your own skyscraper? In this exciting one-day workshop, young architects will dive into the world of skyscraper design, learning how creativity, structure, and engineering come together to shape the skyline. Morning Session (9:30 AM - 12:30 PM): Explore and Design Kick-off Discussion:Learn about the art and science of skyscrapers, from their bold forms to the engineering principles that make them stand tall. Sketching Concepts: Begin drafting your skyscraper designs, focusing on sculptural elements, balance, and creativity. Interactive Feedback :Share ideas and get inspired by others as you refine your unique concept. Lunch Break (12:30 PM - 1:30 PM): Take a break to recharge. Enjoy your packed lunch and chat with fellow young architects. Afternoon Session (1:30 PM - 4:30 PM): Build and Present Model-Making Techniques:Bring your designs to life through hands-on model construction. Explore materials, shapes, and textures to create a 3D representation of your concept. Finishing Touches:Add details to make your skyscraper stand out—whether it’s a sleek modern look or a daring, futuristic design. Showcase Your Work:Present your skyscraper model to the group and discuss the inspiration behind your creation. What You’ll Learn: * The art and engineering behind skyscraper design * How to create bold, sculptural architectural forms * Hands-on model-making techniques All materials provided. No experience necessary—just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!

Cancellation Policy
Holiday Workshop Booking Policy 1. Booking & Confirmation - All workshop bookings must be made in advance through our official registration system. - Confirmation of booking is subject to availability and will be provided upon successful payment or registration. 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy - If you need to cancel your child’s place in a holiday workshop, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. - As our staff and materials are arranged in advance, cancellations made within 24 hours of the workshop will be non-refundable. - For cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice, we may offer a refund or credit towards a future workshop at our discretion. 3. Attendance & Punctuality - Please ensure your child arrives on time for the workshop, as late arrivals may disrupt the session and impact their experience. - If your child is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please notify us as soon as possible. 4. Safety & Supervision - Our workshops are led by trained professionals who ensure a safe and engaging environment for all children. - Parents/guardians must provide accurate emergency contact details at the time of booking. 5. Code of Conduct - To maintain a positive atmosphere, we expect all children to behave respectfully toward staff and other participants. - Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the workshop without a refund.
