From Autumn Forms to Lino Print
Turn autumn into a handmade print
Explore leaves, pumpkins and natural forms as inspiration for an original lino print.
Develop a simple autumn-inspired design and learn how to transfer it onto a lino block. Explore positive and negative space, and experiment with line, shape and texture to create contrast and detail.
Carve your design, apply ink and create a series of handmade prints. Experiment with placement and composition, discovering how each print develops its own unique character.
Create and take home your own handmade prints while discovering a traditional technique that brings together drawing, design and craftsmanship.
No previous drawing or printmaking experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to experiment.
