Bring Your Character to Life in Three Dimensions
How can an idea become a wearable character mask?
Design your own character mask, developing its personality, features and expression as you build.
Experiment with shape, texture, colour and surface detail using craft and sculptural materials. Explore exaggerated features, unusual shapes and layered materials while considering structure, proportion, comfort and visual impact.
Create a unique handmade mask that brings your character to life.
No previous mask-making experience is needed — just imagination and a willingness to experiment.
