Introduction
YDA Portfolio Development sessions provide personalised guidance for students preparing portfolios for college or university admission. Available online or in person, sessions help students develop and present their creative work for design-related courses at art colleges and universities.

Our Portfolio Development sessions offer personalised support for students preparing applications to college or university, particularly those applying for design-related programmes at art colleges and universities.
Working through private tuition, either online or in person, students receive guidance in developing a compelling portfolio that showcases their creative strengths, design thinking and practical skills. Sessions are tailored to each student's interests, abilities and intended course, helping them select and develop projects that demonstrate their potential.
We provide support throughout the portfolio development process, from generating and refining ideas to presenting finished work effectively. Particular attention is given to understanding specific course requirements and ensuring that each portfolio communicates the student's individual creative approach and capabilities.

Session Information
Portfolio Development support is tailored to each student's needs and can be arranged through an initial consultation.
Initial Consultation
Duration: 60 minutes
Cost: £40.00
During the initial consultation we will develop an individualised Portfolio Development plan to address the student's exact needs, and arrange additional sessions as required.
Additional Tutor-Assisted Portfolio Development Sessions
Session length: 1.5 hours
Cost: £32.50 per session
Available online or in person
Equipment
Students should bring their own equipment where possible. Some materials and equipment may be supplied by YDA. This will be discussed during the initial consultation.
Fees
Our classes are 90 minutes long and are charged at £28.50 per class. Fees are the same across all pathways and progression stages. We ask for a minimum of six classes to be paid for in advance, covering one six-week block, or, if joining part-way through a block, the number of classes remaining in the current six-week block.
