ARCHITECTURE PATHWAY
EXPLORER
The Explorer Focus
At the Explorer stage, students begin to think like architects by learning how designers observe, understand and respond to the world around them. Through a series of practical projects, they will explore the design process, scale and proportion, user needs, form and function, and the fundamentals of model making. The focus is on developing curiosity, creative thinking and the confidence to turn observations and ideas into architectural designs.

DEVELOPER

The Developer Focus
At the Developer stage, students build on their design foundations and begin to think more like practising architects. They learn how architects communicate ideas, develop solutions and respond to the needs of people and places. Through practical projects, students explore research, site analysis, technical drawing, materials, structure and the relationship between form and function, developing their ability to turn ideas into clear and considered architectural proposals.

INNOVATOR

The Innovator Focus
At the Innovator stage, students move beyond established design approaches and begin to think like visionary architects. They explore how architecture can respond to future challenges, generate original concepts and imagine new ways of living and interacting with the built environment. The focus is on creative thinking, speculative design and developing ambitious architectural ideas that respond to changing technologies, environments and the needs of future users.
