About the event
We’re excited to announce that after the February half term, YDA will be launching a new course: Introduction to Game Design.
The course will be led by Russ Tyler, a games industry artist specialising in UI (how a game looks) and UX (how players interact with it). Russ has worked with Supermassive Games and other industry leaders, and has experience in narrative design, shaping the stories and experiences behind games. He is also Founder and Creative Director of 1oh1Designs and is passionate about collaboration and storytelling in game development.
Russ will be giving a short talk on 9th February to introduce the course, explain the different types of games, and show how creative ideas become finished projects. This is perfect for students curious about the games industry and eager to develop their own ideas. Please join us!
