Service Description
Workshop: House in a Box Date: 9 April Time: 9:30-16:30 Cost: £90 (includes all materials and refreshments. Please bring a packed lunch) Age: Suitable for high school-aged students Step into the world of interior architecture in this hands-on workshop, where students design and build their own miniature 3D house. Across the day, participants will explore how spaces are shaped, organized, and experienced, all while learning practical skills in model-making and interior design. Morning: Design & Planning (9:30 – 12:30) The day begins with an introduction to interior architecture and design principles. Students will: -Explore how spaces are used and how layouts affect daily life. -Gather inspiration from examples of creative miniature houses. -Sketch floor plans and plan the layout of their own miniature home. -Start translating their 2D plans into initial 3D concepts. Afternoon: Model Making & Decoration (13:30 – 16:30) After lunch, students will bring their designs to life by building and decorating their houses. Activities include: -Constructing the miniature house structure using materials like cardboard and foam board. -Adding furniture, textures, and finishing touches to make each space feel complete. -Presenting their finished houses and reflecting on their design choices. By the end of the workshop, each student will have a fully constructed miniature home, ready to showcase their creativity and understanding of interior architecture.
Cancellation Policy
Holiday Workshop Booking Policy 1. Booking & Confirmation - All workshop bookings must be made in advance through our official registration system. - Confirmation of booking is subject to availability and will be provided upon successful payment or registration. 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy - If you need to cancel your child’s place in a holiday workshop, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. - As our staff and materials are arranged in advance, cancellations made within 24 hours of the workshop will be non-refundable. - For cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice, we may offer a refund or credit towards a future workshop at our discretion. 3. Attendance & Punctuality - Please ensure your child arrives on time for the workshop, as late arrivals may disrupt the session and impact their experience. - If your child is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please notify us as soon as possible. 4. Safety & Supervision - Our workshops are led by trained professionals who ensure a safe and engaging environment for all children. - Parents/guardians must provide accurate emergency contact details at the time of booking. 5. Code of Conduct - To maintain a positive atmosphere, we expect all children to behave respectfully toward staff and other participants. - Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the workshop without a refund.
