Date: 28 May 2025 Time: 9:30 – 12:30 Cost: £50 (includes all materials and refreshments) Age: Suitable for students aged 11+ In this creative, hands-on workshop, students will step into the shoes of a restaurant designer to develop their own unique dining concept. From moodboards and themes to layout and interior finishes, this session is all about dreaming big and designing a space that reflects your personal style and vision. What You’ll Do: 1. Discover Your Concept -Explore what makes a restaurant memorable—from ambience to menu and theme -Brainstorm your own original concept: cuisine, target audience, and signature style -Think about the kind of experience you want to create for your guests 2. Create a Moodboard -Gather colours, images, textures, and keywords that reflect your restaurant's identity -Build a physical or digital moodboard to explore your chosen theme -Get inspired by different styles—from sleek minimalism to rustic countryside charm 3. Design Your Layout & Choose Finishes -Sketch a basic layout including zones like dining, kitchen, and bar -Select furniture, lighting, materials, and décor to match your theme -Plan your space for flow, atmosphere, and customer comfort 4. Share & Reflect -Present your restaurant concept and walk through your design -Explain the choices behind your theme, layout, and design elements -Receive feedback and reflect on your creative process What You’ll Learn: -Basics of spatial design and themed interiors -How to create a moodboard to communicate visual ideas -How design influences dining experience and brand identity -Creative thinking, presentation, and problem-solving skills This workshop is ideal for students interested in interior design, branding, or anyone who loves a creative challenge.

Holiday Workshop Booking Policy 1. Booking & Confirmation - All workshop bookings must be made in advance through our official registration system. - Confirmation of booking is subject to availability and will be provided upon successful payment or registration. 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy - If you need to cancel your child’s place in a holiday workshop, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. - As our staff and materials are arranged in advance, cancellations made within 24 hours of the workshop will be non-refundable. - For cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice, we may offer a refund or credit towards a future workshop at our discretion. 3. Attendance & Punctuality - Please ensure your child arrives on time for the workshop, as late arrivals may disrupt the session and impact their experience. - If your child is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please notify us as soon as possible. 4. Safety & Supervision - Our workshops are led by trained professionals who ensure a safe and engaging environment for all children. - Parents/guardians must provide accurate emergency contact details at the time of booking. 5. Code of Conduct - To maintain a positive atmosphere, we expect all children to behave respectfully toward staff and other participants. - Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the workshop without a refund.
