Date: 29 May 2025 Time: 9:30 -12:30 Cost: £50 (including materials and refreshments) Age: Suitable for high school-aged students Love to draw? Curious about graphic design? This hands-on workshop is the perfect intro to turning your sketches into awesome digital designs! We’ll explore how nature can spark creativity and how to bring your ideas to life using both traditional and digital tools. What Students Will Do: • Introduction to Graphic Design: o Learn what graphic design is and explore examples of nature-inspired designs. o Discuss how natural forms are used in products like logos, patterns, and stationery. • From Drawing to Design: o Nature Sketching: Choose a botanical or animal subject and create detailed sketches. Simplify shapes using tracing techniques. o Stylising for Design: Turn sketches into clean, bold graphic motifs using pens or markers. Experiment with design techniques like line art, symmetry, and patterns. • Digitise & Create: o Scan or photograph drawings to digitise them. o Use AI tools to refine designs and create mock-ups for products like stickers or T-shirts. o Produce at least one polished digital product mock-up. • Final Showcase & Reflection: o Display designs in a mini exhibition for peer feedback. o Reflect on the creative process and discuss future design possibilities. And if you want, you’ll have the chance to get your design professionally printed on cool products after the session!

Holiday Workshop Booking Policy 1. Booking & Confirmation - All workshop bookings must be made in advance through our official registration system. - Confirmation of booking is subject to availability and will be provided upon successful payment or registration. 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy - If you need to cancel your child’s place in a holiday workshop, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. - As our staff and materials are arranged in advance, cancellations made within 24 hours of the workshop will be non-refundable. - For cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice, we may offer a refund or credit towards a future workshop at our discretion. 3. Attendance & Punctuality - Please ensure your child arrives on time for the workshop, as late arrivals may disrupt the session and impact their experience. - If your child is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please notify us as soon as possible. 4. Safety & Supervision - Our workshops are led by trained professionals who ensure a safe and engaging environment for all children. - Parents/guardians must provide accurate emergency contact details at the time of booking. 5. Code of Conduct - To maintain a positive atmosphere, we expect all children to behave respectfully toward staff and other participants. - Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the workshop without a refund.
