Workshop: Intro to Graphic & Costume Design: Bird Design Date: 19 February Time: 9:30-16:30 Cost: £90 (includes all materials and refreshments. Please bring a packed lunch) Age: Suitable for high school-aged students Enjoy a full day of bird-themed creativity. Morning session: Bring your bird illustrations to life in this hands-on workshop. The day begins with pencil sketches, exploring bird anatomy, feather detail, and composition. Students will then develop their drawings into refined designs using graphic materials before learning how to use AI tools to transform their artwork into digital designs. These designs will be applied to product mock-ups, which students will take home, giving their work a professional, real-world finish. Ideal for aspiring graphic designers and pattern makers, this session blends traditional art skills with AI, showing students how to turn creative ideas into products ready to sell. Afternoon session: Take your bird-themed ideas even further by designing and making a bird-inspired hat. In this practical workshop, students can build on work from the morning session or start fresh. They’ll experiment with shape, texture, and colour, combining illustration, craft, and 3D design techniques to create a piece of wearable art. Whether attending as a continuation or a stand-alone class, students will leave with a unique, personalised hat that reflects their creativity and design skills. Holiday Workshop Booking Policy 1. Booking & Confirmation - All workshop bookings must be made in advance through our official registration system. - Confirmation of booking is subject to availability and will be provided upon successful payment or registration. 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy - If you need to cancel your child’s place in a holiday workshop, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. - As our staff and materials are arranged in advance, cancellations made within 24 hours of the workshop will be non-refundable. - For cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice, we may offer a refund or credit towards a future workshop at our discretion. 3. Attendance & Punctuality - Please ensure your child arrives on time for the workshop, as late arrivals may disrupt the session and impact their experience. - If your child is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please notify us as soon as possible. 4. Safety & Supervision - Our workshops are led by trained professionals who ensure a safe and engaging environment for all children. - Parents/guardians must provide accurate emergency contact details at the time of booking. 5. Code of Conduct - To maintain a positive atmosphere, we expect all children to behave respectfully toward staff and other participants. - Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the workshop without a refund.
