Date:29 May 2025 Time: 9:30-16:30 (includes a one-hour lunch break) Cost:£90 (includes all materials and light refreshments) Age: Students age 11+ Note: Please bring your own packed lunch Join us for a full day of creativity, where you’ll dive into both nature-inspired graphic design and bold portrait illustration. This hands-on workshop is perfect for young artists who want to explore different styles and build their digital and traditional art skills—all in one fun day! Morning: Nature to Digital – Graphic Design Workshop (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM) Start your day exploring how the natural world can inspire beautiful, stylised designs. You’ll sketch from nature, create bold motifs, and turn your drawings into digital product mock-ups using creative tools. What You’ll Do: * Learn the basics of graphic design and check out nature-inspired examples * Sketch plants or animals and simplify shapes using tracing techniques * Stylise your artwork with pens and markers using patterns, line art, and symmetry * Digitise your drawings and use AI tools to create mock-ups (like T-shirts or stickers) * Create a polished design ready for display or printing Mini Showcase: Wrap up the morning with a mini pop-up exhibit and get feedback from your peers! Lunch Break (12:30 PM – 1:30 PM) Bring your packed lunch and relax with your fellow creatives before jumping into the afternoon session. --- Afternoon: Expressive Portraits – Illustration Workshop (1:30 PM – 4:30 PM) In the afternoon, shift your focus to portraits with bold lines and expressive layers, inspired by the graphic art style of Luke Dixon. What You’ll Do: * Study Luke Dixon’s style and how to create high-impact, layered portraits * Use a reference photo (provided or bring your own) to map out facial features * Work with fine liners and ink to build texture and line * Add colour accents to bring energy and contrast to your piece * Finish with a striking, modern portrait illustration to take home End of Day Sharing: Show off your final piece in a relaxed group share and reflect on everything you’ve learned.

Holiday Workshop Booking Policy 1. Booking & Confirmation - All workshop bookings must be made in advance through our official registration system. - Confirmation of booking is subject to availability and will be provided upon successful payment or registration. 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy - If you need to cancel your child’s place in a holiday workshop, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. - As our staff and materials are arranged in advance, cancellations made within 24 hours of the workshop will be non-refundable. - For cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice, we may offer a refund or credit towards a future workshop at our discretion. 3. Attendance & Punctuality - Please ensure your child arrives on time for the workshop, as late arrivals may disrupt the session and impact their experience. - If your child is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please notify us as soon as possible. 4. Safety & Supervision - Our workshops are led by trained professionals who ensure a safe and engaging environment for all children. - Parents/guardians must provide accurate emergency contact details at the time of booking. 5. Code of Conduct - To maintain a positive atmosphere, we expect all children to behave respectfully toward staff and other participants. - Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the workshop without a refund.
