Dates: 4-6 August Time: 9:30am-12:30pm Cost: £150 Age: Suitable for ages 11+ The Micro Home movement is gaining momentum worldwide, offering a sustainable, affordable, and minimalist approach to modern living. Typically no larger than 35 square metres, Micro Homes are built using environmentally conscious, renewable materials—and they’re redefining how we think about space, simplicity, and sustainability. Whether you're looking to reduce your carbon footprint, escape financial strain, or explore creative solutions to the housing crisis, Micro Homes provide an inspiring and practical alternative. In this hands-on a one-and-a-half-day course, students will dive into the world of Micro Home design, developing their own concepts through drawing and model-making. You’ll explore how to create a compact yet highly functional living space tailored to your lifestyle and values. What you’ll do: -Create a personalised moodboard to define your design vision -Learn how to produce scaled architectural drawings, including floor plans and elevations -Construct a scale model of your Micro Home design Course Schedule: Day 1: Moodboarding & Concept Design Day 2: Scale Drawing – Plans & Elevations Day 3: Model Making What’s included: All materials, tools, and course notes are provided—just bring your creativity and curiosity!

Holiday Workshop Booking Policy 1. Booking & Confirmation - All workshop bookings must be made in advance through our official registration system. - Confirmation of booking is subject to availability and will be provided upon successful payment or registration. 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy - If you need to cancel your child’s place in a holiday workshop, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. - As our staff and materials are arranged in advance, cancellations made within 24 hours of the workshop will be non-refundable. - For cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice, we may offer a refund or credit towards a future workshop at our discretion. 3. Attendance & Punctuality - Please ensure your child arrives on time for the workshop, as late arrivals may disrupt the session and impact their experience. - If your child is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please notify us as soon as possible. 4. Safety & Supervision - Our workshops are led by trained professionals who ensure a safe and engaging environment for all children. - Parents/guardians must provide accurate emergency contact details at the time of booking. 5. Code of Conduct - To maintain a positive atmosphere, we expect all children to behave respectfully toward staff and other participants. - Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the workshop without a refund.
