Service Description
Date: 1 August 2025 Time: 9:30-16:30 (includes a one-hour lunch break) Cost: £90 (includes all materials and refreshments. Lunch not included – please bring a packed lunch.) Age: students aged 11+ Spend a creative day exploring textile design in this fun and hands-on full-day workshop! You’ll start the morning with lino printing on fabric, then spend the afternoon adding colourful embellishments with embroidery, buttons, and beads. By the end of the day, you’ll have created a beautiful, hand-finished pocket that you can later sew onto tote bags, jeans, or any fabric item. Morning Session (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM): Lino Printing on Fabric Begin the day by designing a simple, animal-inspired motif and learning how to carve and print it using lino printing techniques. You’ll explore how to simplify your image and print your design onto fabric. This session is suitable for beginners and budding creatives alike. Lunch Break (12:30 PM – 1:30 PM): Please bring your own packed lunch. Light refreshments will be provided throughout the day. Afternoon Session (1:30 PM – 4:30 PM): Embroidery & Embellishment In the afternoon, join Claire Dadswell from imadethiscrafts.co.uk to bring your printed fabric to life with hand embroidery, beads, buttons, and more. Claire will teach you a range of beautiful embroidery stitches and techniques to help you transform your design into a unique, finished piece.

Holiday Workshop Booking Policy 1. Booking & Confirmation - All workshop bookings must be made in advance through our official registration system. - Confirmation of booking is subject to availability and will be provided upon successful payment or registration. 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy - If you need to cancel your child’s place in a holiday workshop, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. - As our staff and materials are arranged in advance, cancellations made within 24 hours of the workshop will be non-refundable. - For cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice, we may offer a refund or credit towards a future workshop at our discretion. 3. Attendance & Punctuality - Please ensure your child arrives on time for the workshop, as late arrivals may disrupt the session and impact their experience. - If your child is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please notify us as soon as possible. 4. Safety & Supervision - Our workshops are led by trained professionals who ensure a safe and engaging environment for all children. - Parents/guardians must provide accurate emergency contact details at the time of booking. 5. Code of Conduct - To maintain a positive atmosphere, we expect all children to behave respectfully toward staff and other participants. - Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the workshop without a refund.
