Workshop: Future House Challenge-Build your House Design for 2050 Date: 17 February Time: 13:30-16:30 Cost: £90 (includes all materials and refreshments. Please supply packed lunch) Age: Suitable for students aged 11+ *The House of the Future — Full-Day Workshop (2050)** Step into the role of a future architect and builder in this exciting full-day workshop! Students will explore how we might live in the year 2050, imagining homes that respond to climate change, integrate smart technology, and adapt to new ways of living. Morning Session — Designing a Home in 2050: In the morning, participants will unleash their creativity through drawing, storytelling, and guided brainstorming. They will design their very own House of the Future, considering energy, sustainability, technology, and innovative living solutions. Each student will create a final design poster that brings their vision to life, complete with futuristic features and a unique name for their home. This session is perfect for curious, imaginative thinkers who love ideas, design, and creativity. No building experience is required! Afternoon Session — Building the House of Tomorrow: In the afternoon, ideas become reality! Students will construct a physical model of their futuristic home using recycled and craft materials. Whether building from their morning design or starting fresh, participants will explore solar roofs, floating foundations, robot helpers, and other inventive features. By the end of the day, all models will come together to form a shared **“Future City of 2050”**, celebrating creativity, collaboration, and bold visions of the world ahead. This workshop is ideal for makers, builders, and anyone who loves turning imagination into something real.

Holiday Workshop Booking Policy 1. Booking & Confirmation - All workshop bookings must be made in advance through our official registration system. - Confirmation of booking is subject to availability and will be provided upon successful payment or registration. 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy - If you need to cancel your child’s place in a holiday workshop, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. - As our staff and materials are arranged in advance, cancellations made within 24 hours of the workshop will be non-refundable. - For cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice, we may offer a refund or credit towards a future workshop at our discretion. 3. Attendance & Punctuality - Please ensure your child arrives on time for the workshop, as late arrivals may disrupt the session and impact their experience. - If your child is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please notify us as soon as possible. 4. Safety & Supervision - Our workshops are led by trained professionals who ensure a safe and engaging environment for all children. - Parents/guardians must provide accurate emergency contact details at the time of booking. 5. Code of Conduct - To maintain a positive atmosphere, we expect all children to behave respectfully toward staff and other participants. - Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the workshop without a refund.
