Workshop: Design Your Own Loft Apartment Date: 28 May 2025 Time: 13:30-16:30 Cost: £50 (includes all materials and refreshments) Age: Suitable for high school-aged students Ever dreamed of designing your own living space? In this hands-on workshop, students will step into the role of interior architect to design a modern loft apartment. From open-plan layouts and mezzanine beds to clever storage and lighting ideas, this session is all about style, space, and smart design. What You’ll Do: 1. Learn the Basics of Loft Design -Discover what makes a loft apartment unique—open layouts, tall ceilings, natural light, and industrial style -Explore real-life examples of inspiring loft interiors -Discuss how designers plan small spaces for both function and comfort 2. Create Your Own Layout -Choose a design brief (e.g. creative studio loft, cosy city flat, or live-work space) -Sketch a floor plan that includes zones for sleeping, cooking, working, and relaxing -Plan your space to maximise flow, light, and personality 3. Create a Mood Board -Add details like furniture, colour palettes, lighting, and design features -Bring your vision to life in a hands-on, creative way 4. Share & Reflect -Present your design to the group -Talk through your ideas and design decisions -Reflect on what worked well and what you might do differently next time What You’ll Learn: -Interior design and space planning fundamentals -How to design for small or open-plan living -3D visualisation and model-making skills -How to think like a designer and express ideas clearly This workshop is perfect for students interested in architecture, interiors, or anyone who enjoys creative design challenges.

Holiday Workshop Booking Policy 1. Booking & Confirmation - All workshop bookings must be made in advance through our official registration system. - Confirmation of booking is subject to availability and will be provided upon successful payment or registration. 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy - If you need to cancel your child’s place in a holiday workshop, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. - As our staff and materials are arranged in advance, cancellations made within 24 hours of the workshop will be non-refundable. - For cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice, we may offer a refund or credit towards a future workshop at our discretion. 3. Attendance & Punctuality - Please ensure your child arrives on time for the workshop, as late arrivals may disrupt the session and impact their experience. - If your child is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please notify us as soon as possible. 4. Safety & Supervision - Our workshops are led by trained professionals who ensure a safe and engaging environment for all children. - Parents/guardians must provide accurate emergency contact details at the time of booking. 5. Code of Conduct - To maintain a positive atmosphere, we expect all children to behave respectfully toward staff and other participants. - Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the workshop without a refund.
